Here she goes with her first poem – Rain..
Rain..
The sun was bright
to its extreme
the rivers dry
at their downstream
The well was empty
the plants lifeless
The farmers thoughtful
for their daily harvests
The trees were calm
the fishes dead
the heat scorching
widout ne alarm
the homes emitting fire
the sky cloudless
the village gals carrying buckets
only to find the tanks waterless
Inside the houses
the kids cried
their mothers in agony
with their mouths dried
There was no air
the weather humid
the bodies sweating
with even the animals cupid
Then came a hissing sound
underneath the trees
with the cool air blowing
amongst the dried leaves
The wind then came
leaving the villagers amazed
the kids became playful
their mothers gazed
There was then a roar
The clouds gave the signal
the prayers were answered
with eyes sentimental
The RAIN started falling
amidst the blue skies
faces grinning
came out with a sigh
all started dancing
the farmers n the trees equally
with peacocks together
in their full ecstasy
Thus came a miracle
being caused by RAIN
with laughter all around
subduing entire pain.
