Over are the examinations summer has come,
Over are the tensions, lets have fun.
The sun is shining with all its might,
It makes the sky very very bright.
The children smile like rainbow’s array,
All are shouting begun are the holidays.
Let us eat mangoes juicy and sweet,
Eat ice-creams and softies to beat the heat.
Let us watch cricket with a cool-cool pepsi,
and take a sip at each wicket!
Indoors and outdoors, let us play and play,
Let us roam and wander till the end of day.
Let us read stories and fairy-tales and wander away,
In the fantasy land to places far away.
With fun and frolic, being happy and gay,
Let us spend these valuable holidays,
which keep getting lesser day by day!!
