Google claimed in a court briefing today that the one billion dollar lawsuit against Youtube “threatens the way hundreds of millions of people legitimately exchange information.” Viacom Inc. is suing Google over the 150,000 videos, for which Viacom owns the copyright, that were allegedly being shown on YouTube.

This is the 38th spacecraft to be launched to Mars, and the 19th to arrive successfully, bringing the success rate to exactly 50 percent. It is also the 12th spacecraft to attempt a landing on Mars, and the 7th to successfully accomplish this.
